Moby Dick

Moby Dick is white sperm whale from Herman Melville's novel and also my fifth alternative model built out of set 31133. It features opening maw and moving fins and tail. I've got inspiration to build it from large curved bricks available in set. They seamed to be good for tail of whale but my first attempt failed. I wanted to build it too big and I ended up with lack of bricks. So when I went back to this idea again I started scaling it down and finally got another cool model. Chicken

This white chicken features moving head, neck and legs. It's quite sturdy and as stable as two-legged creature can be. My favorite part is head that I built first - notice how orange assembly with beak is connected to the rest of head. Moomin

I have no idea what these creatures are supposed to be. They look like white hippos with lion's tail and my wife loves them much. This model of moomin features moving head, limbs and tail. It is supplemented with flower and I recommend it only for builders who are masochists. Building process is really difficult and might also be frustrating so be ready for it. My fovorite step is number 20 at page 9 (build it and you'll understand why).

Laboratory Rat

Rat features similar moving parts to kitten (head, ears, maw, limbs and tail). I just had to reduce number of joints in forelimbs to get them for ears. Building instructions can be bought exclusively from rebrickable.com where you will be redirected after clicking on "Download instructions". Cute Kitten

Kitten features moving head, ears, tail, limbs and opening maw. I almost gave up finishing it when I was in bulding process. I started with head and it was so parts intensive that I couldn't find enough parts for body. I'm really happy that I found the way how to finish it. Since head assembly is difficult to build, I don't recommend this model for beginners. If you buy instructions for this kitten you'll get instructions for laboratory rat for free and if you already bought instructions for rat you'll get these for kitten for free too (you can find them on same place where you downloaded instructions for rat).
